Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Major General Anthony P. German, the Adjutant General of New York, announces the recent service accomplishment of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their initial commitment to serve community, state and nation. The newest Citizen Soldiers to complete Army basic combat training and advanced individual training were welcomed to their units during a New York Army National Guard battle handoff ceremony. The ceremony marks their completion of the National Guard Recruit Sustainment Program, a preparatory training program that provides new recruits with training, lessons and skills to excel at their initial military training. The New York Army National Guard welcomed 111 new Soldiers to their units during the May 21 ceremonies around the state.
The Community Service Award recognizes students who have demonstrated a commitment to service, either to our own Nazareth College community or the greater community at large. The Award for faculty, staff, and community partner recipients are members of the Nazareth community who make outstanding efforts providing volunteer service.
Ithaca College student Dallas Fonseca presented research at the 25th Annual Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program Statewide Student Conference, which was held April 7-9, 2017 in Bolton Landing, N.Y. Fonseca presented "The Role of Specificity in the Emergence of Post-transcriptional Regulons in Germline Development," for which he won the top Life Sciences II award at the conference.

The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's lacrosse roster has been finalized and the Engineers have three seniors, three juniors, ten sophomores and eight freshmen. RPI opened the season on Thursday with a 9-5 win over SUNY Oneonta.
Nearly 300 students from The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam will make their collective Carnegie Hall debut in a performance honoring the College's bicentennial on Mother's Day. Maestro Duain Wolfe will conduct the Crane Chorus and Crane Symphony Orchestra in a celebratory concert befitting the College's 200th anniversary, featuring guest artists, epic works and a world premiere. This concert will be offered on Sunday, May 8 at 8:30 p.m., in the Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage.
